New sketching policies for Eric Canete and Sean Gordon Murphy
As of Feb. 21, 2012, Eric Canete and Sean Gordon Murphy will no longer draw licensed or copyrighted characters at conventions or for private commissions. While the debate on the matter unfolds, both Eric and Sean have made personal decisions to abstain from licensed or copyrighted requests indefinitely.
We believe this new standard will allow for richer creativity and inventive illustrations from the guys, and we thank you for your continued understanding. If the policy changes, we will post notice on EssentialSequential.comĀ and on all of our social media outlets.
Both Eric and Sean are happy to draw any characters of public domain or from their own creator-owned projects.
Additionally, Eric (currently working on The Rocketeer and Batman Black and White) and Sean (currently working on Punk Rock Jesus & Batman Black and White) will be selling original art from some of your favorite comics.
If you are owed a commission from Eric, your request will still be honored. We are in the process of completing all commissions placed before Feb. 21.

If you are wanting a copy of Encore or the Limited edition Encore and will be attending a convention we are attending. Please let us know as we will only be bringing about 10-15 copies (more to sdcc and wondercon).
